Located at the edge of the Great Plains with the Rockies rising up nearby, Pueblo is a pretty and uncrowded community in south central Colorado. With a population of over 100,000, Pueblo offers all the services you can expect from a city of its size, without surrendering to urban problems like pollution and overpopulation.
Pueblo's western flavor is evident both in the museums and historical sites around town, and the natural diversity of the surrounding terrain. Pikes Peak can be seen to the north, and Lake Pueblo provides a foreground to the Wet Mountains and Sangre de Cristo Range to the west and south. The rolling green hills of the plains stretch off to the east, a contrast to the high mountain peaks.
Pueblo is located at the crossroads of I-25 and US 50 in south central Colorado.
