Description
Previously known as Piney Creek Nordic Center.
Located at the base of Ski Cooper, just nine miles NW of historic Leadville, Tennessee Pass features 25 kilometers of groomed trails in a beautiful and uncrowded environment. The Tennessee Pass Nordic Center also features great dining at the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse, a backcountry gourmet restaurant, and the coziest of overnight accommodations with their ski-in sleep yurts.

From Vail / Minturn, CO
(From I-70), Take exit 171 to merge onto Highway 24-E/US-6E. Continue on Highway 24-E for approximately 29 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass/Continental Divide and turn left at the large Tennessee Pass Nordic Center/Ski Cooper entrance sign. Proceed up the access road to find the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center on the right side of the parking lot.
From Leadville, CO
Travel north on Highway 24-W approximately 9 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass/Continental Divide and turn right at the large Tennessee Pass Nordic Center/Ski Cooper entrance sign. Proceed up the access road to find the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center on the right side of the parking lot.
From Denver, CO
Travel west on Interstate 70 approximately 80 miles and take exit 195 to merge onto CO-91 S toward Copper Mountain/Leadville. Proceed on CO-91 S approximately 22 miles and turn right onto US-24 W (just before entering Leadville, CO). Proceed on US-24 W approximately 8 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass/Continental Divide and turn right at the large Tennessee Pass Nordic Center/Ski Cooper entrance sign. Proceed up the access road to find the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center on the right side of the parking lot.
