Climate
Southeastern Colorado is part of the Great Plains region. Far from any major body of water, the area is low in humidity and often windy. Summers are hot, and winter temperatures can drop below 0. Most of the time however, temperatures are bearable. Spring and fall are very pleasant, with most of the precipitation occurring from March to June.
