Description
Spruce Group Campground is located in the Lake Isabel Recreation Area - situated at 8,800 feet in the Wet Mountains, part of the San Isabel National Forest (Southern Colorado). St. Charles Creek runs next to the campground and dense spruce trees surround the area. The road through the group site is paved, and a parking area will accommodate a limited number of RVs.
Amenities include: a covered shelter with picnic tables that seat 25 to 30 people, and a charcoal grill (3' x 2' deep). There are no defined tent pads. Throughout the woods, you will find picnic tables and individual fire rings (with grates).
