Description
Hagerman Pass is an old railroad grade that rises on a 3 to 4 percent incline up to the pass, almost 12,000 feet above sea level. The views both along the route and from the top of the pass are gorgeous.

Basic Directions
From Leadville, head west on County Road 4 to Turquoise Lake. Continue 3 miles up the canyon to Forest Road 105, and follow it for about five miles to a small parking area.
