Description
The Greenhorn Mountain Trail follows historic wagon roads through pinyon-juniper and sagebrush vegetation. Deer and elk can often be seen in the area. Several side trails connect to other biking areas.

Basic Directions
From Gypsum, take Eagle County Road 51 north toward Dry Lake, about 4 miles, and turn right on Road 51A, past the model airplane airport and through old mill. Turn north and make a loop below Greenhorn Mountain and Cottonwood Creek back to the old mill.
