Description
The Green Lake Trail is the perfect trail for riders looking for a good climbing workout in the Crested Butte area. The Green Lake Trail winds steeply through thick forest, gaining 1800 vertical feet in just under 8 miles. This ride eventually ends up at Green Lake, namesake for the trail.
Riders will welcome the downhill portion of the Green Lake Trail, back down the way climbed up. The ride is fast and fun, though riders should keep aware for uphill travelers!
