Climate
Denver has a mild climate, despite what out-of-state visitors might expect. On average, the city receives over 300 days of sunshine each year, and only a small amount of precipitation. There is occasional snowfall in winter months, particularly in the western suburbs closer to the mountains, but it is rarely severe enough to cause problems. During summer the region's low humidity means that temperatures in the 80s are quite pleasant.
