The nearest airport to Crested Butte is in Gunnison, offering daily flights to Denver (CO) and, during summer months, Houston (TX). There are connecting flights from either city to airports nationwide.

The Alpine Express shuttle makes frequent runs from the airport in Gunnison to Crested Butte. During night hours, taxi service between the towns is available.
