Cathedral Rock Loop is a multi-use trail system and riders should be aware of right of way protocol when approaching hikers and other bikers. Remember when riding in the desert to bring a well-stocked repair kit and plenty of water. Riders should avoid cycling on Route 179 as this is not bike friendly but is rather a high speed and tight roadway with little shoulder.
