Description
This is a short loop trail for the blind and those in wheelchairs. There is a day-use fee at Rampart Reservoir charged by the concessionaire.
Camping is not permitted along this trail due to the developed campsites at Meadow Ridge and Thunder Ridge located nearby at Rampart Reservoir.

This trail for the physically challenged was built by the Colorado Federation of Business and Professional Women''s Clubs, Inc. and the Forest Service. It meanders through a sunny hillside. giant granite boulders surrounded by aspens, a creek, and a cool, wet fir and spruce forest. Information signs are printed in Braille as well as English.
Trail is only accessible to wheelchairs during the summer months. Moreover, the Trail is rough.
Afternoon thunderstorms are common throughout the summer.
Drinking water is available at the trailhead during the summer..

Basic Directions
From Colorado Springs take HWY 24 west to Woodland Park and turn right at the McDonald's on Baldwin St. This street eventually turns into Rampart Range Road after passing the Woodland Park High School and Middle Schools or you may access Rampart Range Road through the Garden of the Gods. After going past "Balanced Rock", a sign on the left will indicate the Rampart Range Road. This route should only be chosen if you have an extra hour of driving time and have a 4x4 vehicle. It is a scenic route but the road is in poor condition.
